OK, so I’m off. First some Christmas celebrations (so close now it almost seems over…), then New Year’s off to Japan for some work.
Speaking of New Year’s, it is, of course, the perfect nextopian celebration. Nobody ever celebrates the year that just passed, everybody’s so excited because their visualizing the next to come. And we all stand there thinking “this next year is going to be the best ever”.
So, see you ’round the corner, in the best year ever!

What does Nextopia mean?
Nextopia på svenska

Thank you for sharing highly interesting knowledge – consciousness about nextopian behavior has proven to be a powerful tool, even if you’re not aiming for the skies! (Participants are überpsycked that I have dedicated two spots for cameramen/photographers to the “party of the year” in the Norwegian Alps of Hemsedal this new-year. We’ll all hope to enjoy the trip, sometime during 2010 ^^ )
Happy new year
Fredrik
This time of the year many media recapitulate what happened during last year. They bring us list of 10 worst accidents, 10 greatest sport performances, Person of the year etc.
Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter have today on the frontpage (Paper edition only) top persons to keep an eye on during 2010. Smart thinking – “Person-of-the-year” should of course refer to the coming year – not the passed. Somebody should call Time Magazine – time to wake up and smell the coffee.

As a person interested in marketing in social media (a. k. a. the internet) I observe right now that there’s a lot of blogs discussing what will be the next big thing during 2010. Those blogs heavily outnumber the ones looking back at 2009 and what has already happened.
